Who We Are
Mexican Steers is a branch of JBRC, Inc., livestock dealership specializing in sourcing quality cattle from the southeastern U.S., branching out to the ranching heartland of northern Mexico. With over 10 years in the business, we've built something that can't be replicated overnight: genuine, trust-based relationships with more than 20 ranching families across Chihuahua and Sonora.
We're not a clearinghouse or a middleman with a catalog. We know the land, the ranchers, and the cattle. When you buy through us, you're tapping into a network that took decades to build — and a commitment to honest dealing that we've never compromised.
Our buyers include feedlots, stocker operations, and ranchers across the US middle and Southwest who count on us for consistent supply, reliable quality, and straight talk. If we say the cattle are ready, they're ready.

Chihuahua & Sonora — Mexico's Cattle Country
"These two states represent the best of Mexico's cattle-producing regions. Vast open range, high desert grasslands, and generations of ranching expertise produce cattle that are well-conditioned, hardy, and ideally suited for US stocker and feedlot operations. We don't just know where the cattle are — we know where they come from.
Chihuahua
Mexico's largest state by area is also its top cattle producer. The high desert plateau and grassland valleys of Chihuahua have supported ranching for centuries. Our connections here span the breadth of the state — from the Sierra Madre foothills to the open plains. Chihuahua cattle are more simiar in breeding to the native cattle found across the central US states.
Sonora
Bordering Arizona, Sonora's ranches produce cattle accustomed to conditions similar to the US Southwest. Well-managed operations, experienced ranching families, and proximity to the border make Sonora a premier source for US feedlots and stocker buyers. Sonora cattle are a natural fit for Southwest operations.
